David Kirkpatrick
David has coached sprints, relays, jumps and hurdles at the high school and middle school level for the past 12 years. He was the head Track & Field coach at South Medford HS in OR for two seasons before moving to Jackson in 2023 and becoming a sprints coach for the HS team.

26-27 Winter Indoor Season
JHRC provides a highly competitive Indoor T&F season from mid December - early March

Morning strength sessions begin after Thanksgiving. First official indoor practice: Dec 15

Jan-Feb regular indoor season (4 meets at Idaho State in Pocatello)

Early March WY state championships

Mid March Nike Indoor Nationals 
M,W,F 7:30 - 8:30am @JHHS gym Tuesday/Thursday 4:15-6:15pm @ JH indoor and Mondays 4:15 - 5:15pm @ snow king hill.

Spring Season

JHRC supplements the high school regular season by adding meet opportunities during spring break and post season. This includes Oregon Relays the first weekend of April, Nike Outdoor Nationals (mid June) and the JHRC USATF Invitational (early June)
 

Summer Season

For athletes looking to train & compete through the summer season, JHRC provides a modified summer season with 3 practices a week and event specific work. The competition season includes USATF local, regional & state meets, culminating in the junior Olympics for those that qualify

2026 Fall Season
The Jackson Hole Running Club seeks to create a supplement to the current High School XC Programming.  In 2026, this includes
                    1. Extended coaching for both XC and Middle-Distance Track Athletes
                    2. Sponsorship of the Bear Lake Running Camp in Garden City, UT (8/19-8/23)
                    3. Offering extended race opportunities that are not supported by the
                         regular high school running season
                               --Eagle Island Park Invitational in Boise, ID (9/19-9/20)
                               --Nike Northwest Regional Invitational in Boise, ID (11/14-11/15)
                    4. Housing support for JHHS race in Salt Lake City, UT (9/12-9/13
